"Perlugo" Magnum by Pievalta is a sparkling wine of Verdicchio with the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Traditional Method. Not dosed. Exuberant freshness, flavor and persistent. Crusty bread, white flowers, walnut and delicate citrus are noticeable in the nose. A celebratory format for unique events!

The Magnum Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero “Perlugo” by Pievalta is one of the most interesting labels in Italian sparkling wine production using indigenous grapes. Thanks to the experience of Barone Pizzini, owner of the Marche winery, the wine manages to highlight the particular propensity of Verdicchio for sparkling wine production. Its natural base freshness and a perfect selection of grapes, harvested at the right moment of ripeness, offer a clear and fragrant sip that captivates with its immediacy. It is a bottle with a simple and fruity character, ideal when you want to taste an excellent Metodo Classico, but not too structured and complex.

The Dosaggio Zero “Perlugo” Spumante Metodo Classico by Pievalta is born in one of the most dynamic and innovative wineries in the area, which immediately embraced the principles of biodynamic agriculture, in full respect of the natural environment. It is made with Verdicchio grapes harvested from two different plots of the estate. One part comes from the Maiolati vineyards,Spontini, grown on clay-limestone soils and partly from the cru of San Paolo, located on Monte Follonica, about 300 meters above sea level, in a very windy area characterized by precious sandstone and marly soils of ancient marine origin. After the gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The base wines mature for six months before the creation of the final cuvée and the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with a resting period on the lees of about 15 months before disgorgement.

“Perlugo” by Pievalta is a Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Magnum that captivates with its youthful fruity exuberance. Its fresh and savory character makes it perfect to enjoy at aperitif time, with seafood appetizers or delicate fish dishes. Visually, it presents a straw-yellow color with bright greenish reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is intense, characterized by aromas of white flowers, zest of lime, citrus fragrances, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, hints of bread crust, nuances of herbal and balsamic plants. On the palate, it has a good structure, with a sip of juicy fruit, crossed by a clear saline vein, leading to a finish of satisfying mineral freshness. A format for great events!
