The name means pomegranate and is representative of the color and aromas of the wine; the refermentation occurs naturally in the bottle and only indigenous yeasts are used during vinification. The Sparkling Rosé “Pom Graner” is sparkling and decisive just like Andrea della Casa, its creator. Andrea, after working for many years in a completely different field, decides to change his life. After studying Oenology and Viticulture in 2015, he decides to embark on a new project. A comprehensive winery, where every aspect is infused with sustainability and respect for the environment. He cultivates Lambrusco Grasparossa, the protagonist of the Modenese hills, but also Trebbiano di Spagna, Trebbiano Modenese, Occhio di Gatto, and Uva Tosca. Ancient and often forgotten grape varieties that tell the story of the Modenese hills. Respect for the environment, minimal processing in the field and in the winery, and following natural rhythms: these are the cornerstones of Podere Cervarola.
But the true star of “Pom Graner” is the Lambrusco Grasparossa. A red berry grape traditionally grown in these areas, suitable for creating lively and energetic wines. All the work in the field, respecting nature and tradition, is done manually and without the use of synthetic chemicals. Even in the winery, the logic followed is the same: less is more. Spontaneous fermentations and natural refermentation on the lees in the bottle. “Pom Graner” is the child of this philosophy: a wine made with nature, capable of giving always different and unique emotions.
“Pom Graner” is a Sparkling Rosé genuine and eclectic. The color recalls the rosy hues of pomegranate, as the name suggests. An elegant yet full-bodied wine, with aromas that shift from small red fruits to herbal notes. The extreme freshness introduces a mineral and fragrant sip, with a savory finish.
