The Classic Method Sparkling Wine Rosé Brut "Mary of Modena" By Il Farneto is a lively wine, with a fresh and pop tone, produced following organic agriculture principles and aged for 12 months in the bottle. Aromas of wild berries, strawberry, sweet peaches, pears and a pleasant hint of yeast, introduce a pleasant and flowing taste, with a lively, extravagant and dynamic texture

The Classic Method Sparkling Rosé Brut “Mary of Modena 12 months” Rio Rocca is a specialty of the Emilian winery Il Farneto. It is an unusual cuvée, with a character that is typically territorial. The blend is composed of the local indigenous white grape variety Spergola, which provides freshness and sapidity, the fruity elegance of Chardonnay, and the ancient Emilian variety Termarina rossa, characterized by floral notes and small berries. The long aging on the lees allows for a perfect synthesis of the three grape varieties, which merge into a fresh and fragrant sip, particularly suitable for being enjoyed with a platter of flavorful regional cured meats.

The Rosé Brut “Mary of Modena 12 months” Rio Rocca is a Classic Method Sparkling wine produced by one of the most interesting and innovative Emilian wineries. Il Farneto is located in the beautiful hilly area of Scandiano and Canossa and cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards, paying great attention to the historical varieties of the region. Among the rows, they practice an agriculture that is very attentive to nature, biodiversity, and the environmental ecosystem as a whole.  At the end of the harvest, the grapes are vinified separately using only indigenous yeasts. After a few months of aging, the base wines are blended, and the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method with a sur lattes aging period of at least 24 months before disgorgement.
