The Studio of Ca’ Rugate is an elegant white wine, soft and fragrant, born as an experiment from Trebbiano di Soave and Garganega grapes and become a symbol of the winery. It matures in large oak barrels and expresses itself with fruity and mineral tones, with nuances of tea and flint.

The 'Studio' from the Veneto estate Ca' Rugate is a white wine that stands out for its engaging mineral character, produced from two traditional varieties of the Soave territory: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. Behind the creation of this bottle are years of research and experimentation, of 'study' indeed, focusing on these two white grape varieties processed according to both traditional and innovative approaches. The result of these experiments has ultimately led to the genesis of 'Studio', a new interpretation of the Trebbiano di Soave-Garganega pairing that reflects the tenacious vision of Ca' Rugate.

Ca' Rugate 'Studio' comes from a blend of Trebbiano di Soave (60%) and Garganega (40%), varieties grown on volcanic soils, predominantly basaltic, characterized by an abundant presence of mineral elements. After manual harvesting, the bunches of the two grape varieties are vinified separately with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The two masses are then blended before maturation, half of the volume in steel and the remaining half in 680-liter wooden barrels for about 9 months. This is followed by the new blending and final bottling.

To the eye, the Veneto white 'Studio' from the Ca' Rugate winery shows an intense straw yellow color. The aromatic bouquet expresses pleasant scents of white-fleshed fruit, flowers, and green tea, with a delicate hint of flint in the background. Taste in excellent balance between enveloping softness and brilliant freshness, endowed with a decisive sapid vein that guides the persistent finish. This is a gastronomic white wine that can be paired with a wide range of dishes, both seafood and meat, such as risottos and second courses based on shellfish or white meats.
