The Pietrafitta by Cianfagna is a Tintilia full-bodied and intense with a bouquet that ranges from red fruit with hints of spice and tertiary aromas. The taste is enveloping and warm, with a good persistence and a good tannic

presence of many stones in the soil, which could only be worked into a vineyard after hard labor. The vines are trained to a spurred cordon, with few buds and low yields, to always have high-quality grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel and the wine always matures in steel for 24 months and is refined for another 6 months in the bottle before being put on sale.

The wine “Pietrafitta” is the more intense and profound version of Tintillia from the Cianfagna winery, but thanks to aging only in steel, it preserves the varietal profile of the grape. It is a label perfectly in line with the philosophy of the winery, which has always aimed to propose territorial wines, genuine and healthy, with vinifications that foresee minimal intervention in the cellar and a very low use of sulfites. The color is a very intense ruby red. The aromas are mainly oriented towards the scents of ripe red fruit, with spicy nuances and a characteristic note of black pepper. On the palate, it has good structure, is warm and enveloping, with a tannic texture of nice thickness and persistent aromas. The finish is fresh and pleasantly bitter.
