Powerful and veruy intense Single Malt Whisky from Speyside, rich in spicy aromas, warm and creamy, with notes of dark cherry, dried fruit and dark chocolate, aged in Oloroso Sherry butts

Aberlour is a Scottish distillery named after the location where it is based; a magical place that has something mysterious about it, where a river flows whose waters were considered by the ancient resident populations of Celts and Druids to be curative. The distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming with the desire to create a production of excellent Whisky, using only top-quality products. A philosophy that has been followed to this day, allowing Aberlour to produce Single Malts like the A'Bunadh, a distillate of great personality, whose creamy sip makes the drinking experience truly unique and irresistible.

The Aberlour distillery is characterized by artisan working methods, which are also found in this Whisky "A'Bunadh", whose name in Gaelic means "original"; and indeed the recipe from which this Single Malt is born is traditionally original, not involving cold filtration or other modern operations or techniques. A meticulous production process, passed down from generation to generation, where malting is carried out without the use of peat and the must obtained after fermentation is distilled twice; then it moves on to slow aging, carried out in barrels that once contained Sherry.

The Single Malt Whisky "A'Bunadh" by Aberlour presents itself to the visual examination with a beautiful intense mahogany color. The nose is pervaded by enveloping aromas, recalling notes of Sherry and fruit, both candied and dried, that spread over a dense spicy weave. On the palate, it impresses with the intensity of its structure, powerful and vigorous, and for the sip, warm and almost tactile; it finishes with a very persistent aftertaste. A bottle that embodies all the qualities of Whisky produced in Speyside, and that, once tasted, will warm your soul.
