The Nero d'Avola Wine Box "Sherazade" by Donnafugata contains 6 bottles of a red wine that has become a true icon of this famous Sicilian winery, which has managed to enhance the wine heritage of the island, with a range of wines of excellent quality. In harmony with the label, inspired by the protagonist of the famous collection of tales from One Thousand and One Nights, the wine expresses all the enveloping warmth of the Mediterranean, enriched by the charm of oriental spices. A harmonious and intense red, that enhances the qualities of the Nero d'Avola grape, interpreted in the sign of finesse and elegance.
“Sherazade” Nero d'Avola in Wine Box version is the result of one of the estates that has most contributed to the Renaissance of Sicilian wine in the 1980s. Donnafugata has managed to stand out by focusing especially on the enhancement of the indigenous grape varieties of the area. Today the company is articulated in several estates, which give voice to the most important wine-growing areas of the region, in order to offer a complete panoramacomplete of the wine Sicily. The cuvée is born from a selection of Nero d'Avola grapes coming from different parcels of the Contessa Entellina estate, located in southwestern Sicily. The vineyards are cultivated at an altitude ranging from 200 to 450 meters above sea level and are characterized by medium-textured soils predominantly of clay nature. At the end of the harvest, the clusters are quickly transferred to the winery where fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a maceration on the skins of about a week. The wine matures for 4 months in steel tanks and for 3 months in bottle.

In the glass, it presents a beautiful dark ruby red color with bright reflections and youthful violet hues.
