The Riserva "Leon" is a Barolo resulting from the passionate work of a historic producer from the Langhe. The Rivetto family has been cultivating vineyards in Serralunga for generations and produces wines that have managed to maintain a artisanal face, faithful to the best Piedmontese traditions. The vineyards are located in the areas of Lirano and Sinio, in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, and are cultivated following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, using only indigenous yeasts and long maceration on the skins. The wine matures for at least five years in large oak barrels and completes its aging in the bottle.

"Leon" from the Rivetto winery is a Barolo Riserva dedicated to those who love the intense reds of the Langhe, always able to combine finesse and power in the glass. Visually, it presents a rather intense garnet red color with bright ruby reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red fruits, currants, marasca, aromas of soft spices, herbal and balsamic notes, shady sensations of humus and undergrowth, hints of cocoa, toasted notes of noble woods and roasting. On the palate, it shows a remarkable structure, with a dense tannic texture well integrated into the body of the wine, harmonious, intense, finely nuanced aromas that lead to a long and very persistent finish. At the table, it finds the best pairings with braised red wine, slow-cooked dishes, and game.
