The Bianco Ampeleia is a white wine from Tuscany born from the blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Ansonica. A fresh, fragrant, and elegant wine, on the palate it combines pronounced savoriness and acidity, while on the nose delicate notes of tropical fruit, citrus, chamomile, and aromatic herbs unfold. Very versatile in pairings, it is an excellent white to drink throughout the meal!

The Bianco by Ampeleia is a light and fragrant Tuscan artisanal interpretation of a blend of the traditional white grape varieties Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Bianca and Ansonica. This bottle stems from the winery's desire to communicate the character of the Tuscan Maremma terroir in a different way than it does with its red wines, in particular by recovering the ancient custom of the co-planted vineyard. In fact, in the past, farmers used to plant different varieties within a single vineyard, mainly to prevent a difficult year from totally ruining the harvest, thus combining vines with different disease resistance and phenological cycles.

Ampeleia Bianco originates from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano grapes, the dominant part of the blend, Malvasia Bianca and Ansonica, varieties cultivated in the La Rocca vineyard following the dictates of biodynamic agriculture. The plants benefit from the composition of marl, palomino and clay that characterises the soils, as well as the altitude between 300 and 550 metres above sea level. After harvesting, carried out strictly by hand, the bunches of grapes are piled all together in cement vats for spontaneous alcoholic co-fermentation accompanied by 2 days of maceration on the skins. This is followed by 6 months of ageing, again in cement, before final bottling without any clarification.

Ampeleia's white wine expresses a straw-yellow hue with flashes of gold. Inviting aromas of tropical fruit, chamomile, rosemary and citrus describe the olfactory texture along with hints of almond. On the palate, it is fresh and savoury, with a soaring, fragrant finish that evokes the pleasant sensations of exotic fruit and flowers perceived on the nose.
