The Chardonnay “Kreuth” comes from vineyards that Cantina Terlano tends to with extreme care and attention; we are at a variable altitude above sea level, ranging from about 250 to 900 meters, on soils exposed to the south and southwest, characterized by a steep slope. The grapes, carefully selected to ensure only the best of the terroir of origin, ferment slowly in large oak barrels at a controlled temperature; then, after undergoing malolactic fermentation, the aging in wood, which lasts about 8 months, until the moment when bottling operations begin.
The “Kreuth” is a Chardonnay produced by Cantina Terlano that presents itself in the glass with a deep and intense straw yellow color. The olfactory profile is varied and focuses on a range of herbaceous notes and aromatic herbs that are also enhanced by slight touches of yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, harmonious in structure, and has excellent drinkability thanks to a sip of pleasant freshness. A bottle of great reliability, which successfully accompanies succulent appetizers and tasty fish-based dishes.
