The Felcebianco from the La Felce winery is a white wine young, light, fresh, and fruity. This label is obtained from a blend of white grapes from vineyards, with an average vine age of about 40 years, trained on trellises using the Guyot pruning method and spurred cordon on soils characterized by sandy soils mixed with marine origin rocks. The proximity of the winery to the sea distinguishes this white with interesting saline nuances that provide great drinkability. The winery, owner of just over 5 hectares of vineyards, is a small family-run business that has decided to direct its production towards sustainable practices, choosing to follow the dictates of organic farming and avoiding the use of chemicals.
The Felce Bianco is produced with carefully selected grapes harvested by hand between the end of August and the beginning of September. The bunches, upon reaching the winery, are destemmed and gently pressed, after which they undergo a cold maceration on their skins for about 48 hours. Subsequently with the pressing, the skins are removed and the must undergoes alcoholic fermentation, using only indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel containers for a few weeks.
The Felcebianco from La Felce presents itself with an intense straw-yellow color. On the nose, intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus appear, including peach, mandarin, and cedar, floral notes of yellow flowers, hay, and wild herbs, concluding with saline and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is agile, dynamic, and decisive, characterized by a great saline freshness, with iodized and citrus notes that entice the drink. This wine from the La Felce winery is an easy and pleasant white, with a typically territorial stamp.
