Il Moreé Piccolo Bacco dei Quaroni

The “Moreé” is a soft, pleasant, and pleasantly rustic red wine produced by the Piccolo Bacco dei Quaroni winery, located in the Oltrepò Pavese countryside. Local indigenous grape varieties, the use of native yeasts, and low yield per hectare are the keywords for Mario, Laura, Giulia, and Tommaso, four friends who decided to buy a plot of land and produce wine in 2001. The bottles are simple, genuine, and unpretentious, just like this blend that releases flavor and body without overwhelming the palate.

The red “Moreé” from Piccolo Bacco dei Quaroni is obtained from the blending of two red grapes. Both grape varieties are cultivated with renewed training according to the principles of organic farming; permanent natural cover cropping and limited and exclusively organic fertilization. The harvest is carried out manually, and the grapes, after being destemmed and pressed, ferment spontaneously with native yeasts in steel where they macerate on the skins for 15 days.
