Fonte del Re is a pleasant and fresh Lacrima di Morro d'Alba that ferments and matures in steel tanks. It weaves together geranium and violet flowers with cherry, sour cherry, and marine sensations. Sunny and light, it perfectly balances energy, vitality, and freshness on an intense and well-defined tannic matrix.

The Fonte del Re by Umani Ronchi is a Lacrima di Morro d'Alba that combines an intoxicating aromaticity with an extraordinary drinkability. Umani Ronchi is a reality that has made history in Italian viticulture and has never lost sight of the primary goal of winemaking: to produce qualitatively excellent expressions. 210 hectares of vineyards are cultivated, located in the areas of greatest interest in Marche and Abruzzo, including the Conero and the Castelli di Jesi, planted almost exclusively with local indigenous grape varieties such as Verdicchio, Montepulciano, Pecorino, and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. Bottles that should always be in the cellar, also due to a very advantageous quality-price ratio!

The red Fonte del Re comes from pure Lacrima grapes, a red grape variety so named for its particular characteristic of releasing a drop of liquid when the grape has reached full ripeness. The vineyards, located at altitudes between 150 and 200 meters on clayey-loamy soils, are cultivated with limited yields and hand-harvested to respect the quality of the produced fruits. After destemming and crushing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a skin maceration period lasting a maximum of 10 days. As soon as the alcoholic fermentation is completed, malolactic fermentation is also carried out, followed by aging of 4 months in steel.

The Fonte Del Re Umani Ronchi pours into the glass with an intense ruby red color, edged with violet reflections. The nose is immediately explosive and intense, with evident references to red fruit of every shape and size, intertwined with a bouquet of freshly picked violets. The sip, while showing a contained alcohol content, is full, rich, and quite tannic, dominated by intense fruity sensations that almost make one think of enjoying this nectar like a juice. Splendid with local cured meats, including the delicious Ciauscolo, it also pairs well with first and second courses based on meat. Enchanting and seductive.
