'Ladiv' Reichmuth

“Ladiv” from the Piedmontese winery Reichmuth is a very special label. It is a white wine made with a long maceration on the skins, inspired by the oldest traditions of Georgia, where the domestication of vitis vinifera and the history of wine began.  The vinifications are carried out following ancestral practices, trying to intervene as little as possible to allow the grapes to express themselves directly and immediately. A production philosophy that is typically artisanal, which gives a wine with an ancient face, characterized by rich and complex fruity aromas, enriched by tertiary nuances of great intensity. A dense and structured white, dedicated to fans of orange wine.

“Ladiv” by Reichmuth is an interesting Piedmontese wine. It comes from an estate that follows an original production philosophy, absolutely artisanal in nature. The wine is the result of a selection of white grape varieties from vineyards cultivated on calcareous-clay soils, following the principles of organic farming. The harvest takes place manually and the grapes are sent to vinification with a spontaneous fermentation using only indigenous yeasts and a long maceration on the skins, in order to extract aromas and give complexity and structure to the wine. After aging in amphora or barrique, and then in large barrels, the wine is bottled without clarification or filtration and is put on sale after a few months of resting in the bottle

“Ladiv” by Reichmuth is an orange wine with a great personality, dedicated to those who love important wines. It is a bottle with a gastronomic vocation, very suitable for pairing with dishes based on white meats, intensely flavored fish dishes, or with a platter of medium-aged cheeses. In the glass, it presents a golden yellow color with amber and orange reflections. The olfactory profile is particularly rich, with aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, plum, notes of tropical fruit, candied citrus peel, beeswax, wildflower honey, hints of medicinal herbs and delicate spices. Wide and juicy, it presents on the palate with a savory and complex sip, deep and persistent, which flows into a long and harmonious finish.
