The Coffee Liqueur Essentiae is born in the Ligurian Liqueur Shop of the Lunae Bosoni winery, a true Artisanal Taste Workshop. It is a small project that completes the offer of one of the most important realities of Lunigiana. Lunae Bosoni decided to complement its historic production of great wines with a series of labels inspired by the great tradition of liqueurs. It is made with high-quality, simple, and natural ingredients that enhance the classic aromas of coffee in its pure essence. It is perfect to enjoy after dinner, neat or with ice.
Essentiae is a Coffee Liqueur that is part of the specialties made by a prominent winery in the Ligurian territory. Lunae Bosoni, famous for producing high-quality wines, has also decided to venture into the liqueur sector, with the same goal of achieving excellence. The project is the result of the meeting between Diego Bosoni, the winery's oenologist, and Fiorella Stoppa, a great expert in essences andliquors, which since the 1970s has been recovering the ancient recipes of the Ligurian tradition, reintroducing and keeping them alive. The liqueur is made in the artisanal laboratory of Castelnuovo Magra, following natural processes and manual work. The preparation takes place only in the months of January to May and only a few simple ingredients are used: espresso coffee, alcohol, sugar, and vanilla. The coffee is still prepared today with a moka pot and with fine coffee blends. The production is still carried out according to the customs of the past, and the liqueur is then bottled in its genuine purity, without colorants, additives, or flavorings.
The Coffee Liqueur Essentiae from the Ligurian Liqueur Shop of the Lunae Bosoni winery is produced only in a limited number of bottles. It is a niche production, dedicated to connoisseurs and enthusiasts who do not like industrial products and are always looking for original labels. Visually, it presents a dark brown color with black reflections, dense and intense. On the nose, it expresses enveloping aromas, enriched by delicate hints of vanilla, which give the bouquet a pleasant softness. The sip is rich and broad, with the classic aromas of freshly ground coffee roasts. Harmonious and smooth, it finishes with pleasantly persistent notes.
