Madamarosè' Tenuta Sallier de la Tour - Tasca d'Almerita 2025
"Madamarosè" is a rosé wine from the Monreale area produced with pure Syrah grapes and aged for several months in steel tanks. It reveals a playful, fresh, delightful, and fragrant soul, wrapped in a light and subtle aromatic profile of pomegranate, berries, Mediterranean herbs, and sea breezes
The "Madamaros" Tenuta Sallier de la Tour by Tasca d'Almerita is a Sicilian rosé made from Syrah grapes, with refined aromaticity and an irresistible sip. When mentioning Tasca d'Almerita, we refer to one of the realities that have marked the enological history of Sicily and beyond, given that the winery was founded as far back as 1830. Founded by the Counts Tasca, today it is Alberto and Giuseppe Tasca who have inherited the family legacy passed down from generation to generation, adopting an approach that proudly looks to the past and tradition, while also considering increasingly current needs, such as preserving biodiversity and soil vitality. The name Tasca d'Almerita has now become an absolute guarantee of quality, which can also be approached with everyday wines of excellent craftsmanship.
The rosé "Madamaros" is a wine made from pure Syrah grapes, sourced from vineyards located in the Tenuta Sallier de La Tour in Monreale, in the foothill area of the Valle dello, which rests on fresh and predominantly sandy soils. After a careful selection of the bunches, which took place both in the vineyard and in the winery, we proceed with the white vinification of the Syrah, to preserve freshness. The liquid then ages for 3 months on fine lees in steel containers before bottling.
The "Madamaros" presents itself in the glass with a lively and bright pink hue. Whispered and fresh nose, characterized by hints of wild strawberries, black pepper, and floral notes. The sip is fresh and savory, juicy and rhythmic, and truly irresistible on the everyday table. A rosé of great gastronomic versatility, to be enjoyed with satisfaction both on fish-based dishes and Mediterranean first courses.
