The common thread remains a viticulture that does not foresee the use of chemical or synthetic substances, and the maceration on the skins for white wines, a practice capable of giving depth especially to a grape variety like Ribolla. The Podversic Pinot Grigio is obtained from pure grapes of the same name, coming from the Calvario vineyard, characterized by the classic matrix of the place called Ponca, a mix of marls and sandstones. In the vineyard, a targeted interventionist approach is followed, avoiding the use of any chemical or synthetic substances and using only copper, sulfur, and natural preparations. The grapes are always harvested at full ripeness and brought to the winery where alcoholic fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins for about 30 days. The liquid then ages for 24 months in 5 hl barrels and at least 12 months in the bottle.
The Pinot Grigio Podversic presents itself in the glass with a beautiful hue between amber and bright pink. Compelling and explosive olfactory impact, made of hints of wild herbs, mint, licorice, honey, and ripe fruit. The richness of the nose is confirmed in a sip sumptuous and weighty, endowed with the fabric of a champion, and perfectly balanced between pulp and slight tannic friction.
