The Ribolla Gialla "Adelchi" is a white wine that is as delicate and intriguing in its aromas as it is pleasant on the palate. Freshness and minerality are the keys to this Friulian wine, convincing in every way. A label with which Venica continues a winemaking tradition that, starting from the 1930s, is characterized by the continuous qualitative consistency with which it manages to present the typical grape varieties of Collio in their purest form. Excellent to uncork right now, it can still rest in the cellar for another couple of years, allowing it to be tasted with an even more evolved character.
“Adelchi” is a pure Ribolla Gialla, a white grape variety among the most representative of the entire Friulian viticulture. In particular, Venica cultivates it within the DOC of Collio, one of the areas most suited to it. The grapes are harvested around mid-September through a strictly manual harvest. The must macerates on the skins for 10-12 hours in the absence of oxygen, before fermenting both in large wooden barrels (for 60% of the mass) and in steel. This percentage is maintained even during the aging phase (which lasts for 5 months), at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.

Citrus and minerality are the first hints that reach the nose, followed by floral touches and nuances that recall the underbrush vegetation. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, rich, enhanced by a fresh and savory sip; it finishes with an aftertaste characterized by good persistence. The Friulian Collio comes alive in this label signed by Venica, ideal for accompanying festive atmospheres at the table.
