The Riesling from Tenuta San Leonardo is an alpine and dolomitic white wine endowed with energy, minerality, freshness, and, above all, great longevity. It emanates aromas of citrus, yellow fruit, and flint, destined to evolve over time into notes of hydrocarbons. The sip is taut, savory, fresh, mineral, and persistent.

The white wine from Trentino, Riesling, produced by Tenuta San Leonardo, enhances the potential of this international grape variety cultivated at considerable altitudes. It is indeed a product that, from the very first sips, announces its mountainous profile through a savory and refreshing drink, rich in aromas and flavors. A bottle that once again highlights the skill of this winery - one of the most important production realities at the national level - and is also characterized by its extreme longevity: if you want to reserve an incredibly surprising experience, forget it in the cellar for five, six, or even seven years. The result will leave you astonished.

This Riesling is made by Tenuta San Leonardo from the grapes of the homonymous international variety grown at about 700 meters above sea level, within that area identifiable as the Val di Cembra. The terroir where the vines take root is characterized by a predominantly sandy matrix. The bunches, after manual harvesting, are taken to the winery's facilities designated for winemaking to be destemmed; after which the grapes are pressed and the obtained must ferments in stainless steel containers for about twenty days. The process then continues with aging, during which the wine remains first for 12 months on the fine lees in French oak tonneaux and then, after bottling, for another 6 months directly in glass.

The white Riesling wine branded Tenuta San Leonardo presents itself with a color reminiscent of straw yellow, light and not too concentrated to the eye. The olfactory spectrum starts with citrus and mineral notes and then shifts towards sensations of tropical fruit and hints that recall flint. On the palate, it has excellent structure, with a dynamic sip, characterized by a fresh and savory imprint, which ends with a finish of excellent persistence. An excellent label that reveals its alpine charm, perfect to gift to friends passionate about wines from northern Italy.
