For five generations, the Peter Lauer brand has been a guarantee of absolute quality, thanks to parcels cultivated in the best areas of the territory and an art of winemaking still conducted in a handcrafted manner. The grapes come from the vineyard Ayler Kupp, which is almost fifty years old and is cultivated with a sunny exposure facing southwest, on a steep slope of slate stones. The harvest takes place during the month of October, and the best bunches are sent for spontaneous fermentation, using only indigenous yeasts. Before bottling, the wine ages for a few months.
