Rosato Frizzante Rifermentato in bottiglia 'San Vincent' Bergianti
"San Vincent" is a convivial and carefree semi-sparkling wine rosé produced with spontaneous refermentation in the bottle. It is lively, dry, energetic, refreshing and savory, with hints of small red fruits, strawberries, aromatic herbs and mineral salts. Wines made with Old Style Artisanal Methods
The “San Vincent” by Bergianti is a Lambrusco di Sorbara refermented in the bottle that originates from the ideas of Gianluca and Simona, a “creative” couple who founded the eponymous winery in Garganello di Carpi, in the province of Modena, in 2008. Since its inception, their project has been to build a sustainable integrated system in which the vines are perfectly integrated into a broader environment made up of vegetables, aromatic herbs, grains, and fruit trees, alongside animals: the principle that underlies biodynamics. The name of this wine comes from the patron saint of vineyards and winemakers celebrated in France on April 5, somehow “Italianized” with that “san”, also because it has historical traces in the Belpaese.
“San Vincent” Bergianti is a sparkling rosé refermented in the bottle entirely from Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes. Gianluca, following ancient Emilian traditions, uses ancient clones of grapes. All operations are carried out manually, respecting and expanding the canons of biodynamics. The alcoholic fermentation occurs in concrete using indigenous yeasts, followed by spontaneous refermentation.spontaneous in the bottle. There is no filtration or clarification, and the amount of added sulfites is kept to a minimum: we are talking about 20mg/l total sulfur dioxide in each bottle.
Bergianti “San Vincent” is a refermented Lambrusco that presents itself with a beautiful bright and rich pink, brilliant and lively, equipped with a fine foam. In the glass, it releases aromas of small berries, intertwined with aromatic herbs and notes of sea salt, resulting in freshness and delicacy. On the palate, it is a burst of pleasantness, wonderfully refreshing the palate by revealing its qualities of juiciness and minerality. It is a dry and taut wine, which is sincere and direct, never tiring with its delicate sparkling note. It is a cheerful wine that happily accompanies appetizers and lunches based on vegetables and fish!
