Rosato 'Grayasusi - Etichetta Rame' Ceraudo 2025

The Rosato “Grayasusi - Etichetta Rame” by Ceraudo is a Calabrian rosé wine with an intense and Mediterranean soul, just like the land that shapes it. Gaglioppo, the most widespread and representative variety of all Calabria, is processed to make this Rosé fresh and delicate, where the aromas on the nose are typical of the varietal, free to express themselves fully also thanks to organic farming. Attention to detail and constant pursuit of quality: these are the two secrets behind this label which, among its many qualities, also has the versatility in the kitchen.

“Grayasusi - Etichetta Rame” is made by Ceraudo starting from Gaglioppo grapes. The vines, which are about 20 years old, are trained using the espalier system in parcels that are exposed to the southeast. Between the rows, work is done in a certified organic regime, without the use of chemical products but using systems like sexual pheromone traps. Sustainability is also important for the the winery, and for this reason photovoltaic panels are used that make the winery energetically self-sufficient. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers. The final aging has a short duration, and takes place for some months in steel.

The Rosato “Grayasusi - Etichetta Rame” signed by the Ceraudo winery presents itself to the eye with a cerasuolo color. The nose is concentrated, moving along an olfactory path that, from the notes of small berries, shifts towards sensations that particularly recall lavender. Light on the palate, where a pleasant freshness and excellent drinkability are felt, responsible for a fragrant and quaffable sip.
