The Santigaini is one of the most famous and prestigious expressions of white wine from Sardinia, made from late-harvested Vermentino grapes and aged in new and semi-new barriques for at least 6 months. On the nose, it is a synthesis of Mediterranean, marine, fruity, and mineral sensations. In succession: yellow flowers, honey, saltiness, and aromatic herbs. The taste is full-bodied and intense, very fresh, fruity, and mineral

The “Santigaini” by Capichera is a Sardinian white wine in perfect symbiosis with its territory of origin. It expresses all the extraordinariness, made of a sandy and stony soil that rises to cru: the cru Santigaini, which in the Gallurese dialect indicates the month of October. The Ragnedda family has proudly carried the flag of Sardinian excellence for many years, having deeply marked its wine history and continues to do so today. The Capichera winery is nestled in a magical environment, where myrtle, Mediterranean scrub, and broom provide unique colors and scents. “Santigaini” is a white wine with a straight, cutting, and complex character. Due to its composed and refined verticality, it is a wine of elegant excellence but, at the same time, with a strong personality that reveals itself in its wide aromatic range.

Gallurese of Arzachena, where the winery is located. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, while aging occurs in new and semi-new barriques and lasts for 6-8 months.

“Santigaini” Capichera is a white wine that has carved out a space among the peaks of wine quality not only in Sardinia but also in Italy. It presents itself visually in its bright straw yellow color, enhanced by brilliant golden reflections. On the nose, it shows all its complexity and richness, opening up with various and never banal aromas; yellow flowers and exotic fruit are just a prelude to a bouquet of aromatic herbs, spices, honey, citrus, and that characteristic Mediterranean scrub, as well as the memory of saltiness, which tell of a very strong territorial belonging. On the palate, this Vermentino reveals its innate class and charm. The body is full, and the sip is rich; the entry and finish are aristocratic in their finesse, marked by sapidity and freshness. An icon of style and a wine for connoisseurs: a piece of excellence that will enrich the

cellar and the experience of those who choose it.
