Sauvignon Vigneti Le Monde 2025
The Sauvignon from Vigneti Le Monde is a lively and velvety Friulian expression, born from a short aging in steel. It presents itself with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and unfolds an aromatic profile of exotic fruit, nectarine, green apple, and mineral hints. On the palate, it is pleasantly acidic and develops good savoriness.
The Sauvignon from Vigneti Le Monde is a fresh and fruity version of the famous French grape variety, particularly loved for its intense aromatic characteristics, making it immediately recognizable. The citrus and vegetal aromas, along with the soft fruity fragrance, outline a strong personality and a distinctive varietal typicity. Among the famous international grapes, it is certainly the one that has best adapted to the pedoclimatic conditions of Friuli, becoming at home in these lands. Fresh and saline, it is a white wine that pairs perfectly with vegetables, particularly asparagus or shellfish.
The Sauvignon Blanc wine reflects the vocation of the Grave del Friuli area towards quality viticulture, aimed at producing fragrant whites with intense aromas. The Vigneti Le Monde estate is located in the countryside of Prata di Pordenone and spans about a hundred hectares, predominantly cultivated with the varieties traditionally grown in the region. In particular, the Sauvignon expresses itself very well thanks to the mild and breezy climate and soils composed of gravelly soils, with the presence of clay and limestone. The vines are managed without the use of herbicides, within a company philosophy inspired by concepts of eco-sustainability. The best clusters selected in the vineyard undergo a cold prefermentative maceration and then a soft pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Before bottling, the wine rests on the fine lees for six months in steel tanks.
The Sauvignon Blanc wine is one of the most successful labels of the Friuli winery Vigneti Le Monde. A pure expression of a grape variety with great potential and a territory perfect for quality viticulture, it offers a glass of pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, opening up to intense aromas of tropical fruit, citrus hints, nuances of sage, nettle, and tomato leaf. The sip is characterized by rich aromas, supported by a pleasant freshness. The finish is tense and vibrant, with clear saline and mineral notes, typical of the terroir. The perfect bottle for those who love very fragrant and slightly aromatic wines.
