The Trento Spumante Pas Dosé Vintage by Altemasi is rich, intense and generous but endowed with vitality, energy, tension and vibrant freshness. It ages for at least 5 years on the lees in the bottle and expresses itself with notes of fruit, citrus, sweet spices, bread crust and pastry. The sip is fresh and sharp, endowed with aromatic depth and persistence.
The Pas Dosé Trento Sparkling Wine by Altemasi is the latest addition to the range produced in Ravina. It is a product born from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, where, at the end of the processing, no dosage liqueur is added, thus maintaining an authentic and expressive sip of the vintage spent in the vineyard. An elegant vintage, with continuous perlage, where with each sip the character of this label emerges, perfect to be enjoyed with first and second courses of fish.
This Trento Pas Dosé Sparkling Wine is made by the Altemasi winery starting from a blend where, alongside Chardonnay, we find 40% Pinot Noir. The plants of these two varieties grow in hilly terrain, between the Valle dei Laghi and the Val di Cembra, at an altitude of 450-600 meters above sea level. The grapes, carefully harvested during the harvest phase, arrive at the vinification facilities, where they undergo an initial alcoholic fermentation. The refermentation then takes place, as usual for the Classic Method, in the bottle, where the wine remains to mature on the lees for a period of 60 months.
The Trento Pas Dosé Sparkling Wine offers a very bright golden yellow hue in the glass; the perlage has a fine grain, marked by a rhythm of good persistence. The bouquet of aromas on the nose tells a carousel of fruity notes, which, between ups and downs, touch hints of yeast, bread crust, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dynamic, with a fresh and dry sip, which fuels a full and deep drink.
