Valpolicella Classico Superiore 'Camporenzo' Monte dall'Ora 2021
Artisanal
Organic and biodynamicThe Valpolicella Classico Superiore "Camporenzo" by Monte dall'Ora is a red wine of enveloping goodness. On the nose, there are noticeable fresh fruit, wild violet, menthol hints, and white pepper. On the palate, it is juicy, rich, and with the finest tannins.
The Valpolicella Classico Superiore “Camporenzo” by Monte dall'Ora is one of the most convincing and authoritative expressions of the area, as well as one of the absolute peaks of local artisanal wine. Carlo Venturini is one of the faces of true Valpolicella, the one that has not conformed to market laws and has continued to express its immense potential in a sincere and credible way. Since 1995, the year of the founding of the Monte Dall'Ora winery, the gestures and intentions have always been clear and simple, that is to bottle identity expressions while respecting and enhancing the territory, therefore the vineyards have always been cultivated organically, excluding the use of chemical or synthetic substances. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and Oseleta thus find their sublimation, being exalted by deep interpretations that favor complexity over immediacy. A bulwark.
The red wine “Camporenzo” is obtained from the typical blend of Valpolicella, made up of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and Oseleta in different percentages. In the vineyard, As already mentioned, the aim is to preserve the vitality and expressiveness of the soil, therefore only a little copper and sulfur are used. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts continues for 10-12 days, and the liquid is aged for 4 months in small second and third passage barrels.
The "Camporenzo" Valpolicella fills the glass with its intense and bright ruby hue. An evocative and emblematic nose, extremely territorial, where hints of blackberry and ripe plum intertwine with clear vegetal and lymphatic notes. A sip of great classicism and harmony, perfectly balanced between structure and an extremely fine tannin. A red with territorial adherence, dedicated to lovers of austere wines that reveal themselves gradually.
