The White "Giandòn" Rio Rocca from the Emiliana winery Il Farneto is a white wine that stands out for its pronounced aromaticity due to its grape blend. After an intense 15-day maceration, it is fermented with indigenous yeasts. A broad orange sip with coppery reflections. On the nose, it is a burst of aromas of pineapple, mango, candied apple, and lime with earthy hints of foliage; on the palate, the same aromas are found highlighted by excellent minerality and slightly tannic notes.

The White "Giandòn" Rio Rocca from the Il Farneto Agricultural Company is the result of a project initiated by Marco Bertoni and came to life around 1990: the idea was to contribute to the improvement of agriculture and sustainability, directing the work towards a completely organic regime and respectful of all the biodiversity present in the area. The philosophy is to produce quality wines, respecting the natural phases of maturation of the raw material without any chemicals assisting the work in the different phases.

The white grapes of the White "Giandòn" Rio Rocca from the Il Farneto Agricultural Company are cultivated on about 35 hectares of vineyards on partly hilly terrain: here the soil is mainly composed of clay and sand, very fertile and capable of giving life to characterful wines. The altitude reaches 250 meters above sea level and has an excellent solar exposure that ensures complete ripening of the grapes at the chosen time for the harvest. Nature is the protagonist, thanks to the choice of following the dictates of biodynamics and enhancing old varieties of forgotten grapes. Once the harvest is completed, spontaneous fermentation strictly occurs in the cellar and refermentation in the bottle with its own must; it macerates on the skins for 15 days.

The White "Giandòn" Rio Rocca from the Il Farneto Agricultural Company presents itself in the glass with an orange-yellow color with brilliant coppery reflections; the bouquet of aromas recalls mango, candied apple, lime, and a finish of underbrush and foliage scents. On the palate, there is an intense minerality, a pleasant aromaticity, and a light tannin well integrated into the structure. It pairs excellently with smoked fish, grilled salmon, but also with braised white meats; interesting also with vegetable-based dishes and aged cheeses. A product to share for savory brunches on relaxing and slow Sundays or for barbecues by the sea with lifelong friends to enjoy the natural goodness of the fruit transformed in the best way.
