This label is made from a blend of native grapes from the area, where Vermentino joins the varieties Bosco and Albarola in a perfect combination that enhances the richness of the terroir. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 150-300 meters on terraced and very steep hills, characterized by predominantly sandy soils, which make viticulture a heroic activity. The winery is a very small family-run business that is strongly tied to Ligurian agricultural tradition and works the only hectare of land with great passion and expertise.
The Cinque Terre from Forlini Cappellini is produced with carefully selected grapes that are harvested exclusively by hand. The bunches, brought to the winery, are destemmed and pressed in a manner gentle to then undergo alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at controlled temperature for a few weeks. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is racked, after which it remains in aging for several months in stainless steel tanks, before being bottled and put on the market.
