The Malvasia Istriana "Dis Cumieris" is an expressive and mineral wine, with a beautiful aromatic intensity, vinified and aged in steel. It has fruity, citrus, herbal and slightly saline aromas and a fresh, savory and persistent taste

The Malvasia “Dis Cumieris” is a Friulian wine endowed with a persistent aromaticity, a true hallmark of this bottle, carefully crafted by the Vie di Romans winery. A white wine that impresses on the palate with its freshness and savory imprint, two characteristics that make the drinking experience exhilarating. A label that aligns with the opinions of the main Italian industry magazines, which do not hesitate to assign the “Dis Cumieris” scores that are nothing short of interesting.

The Malvasia “Dis Cumieris” is made from pure Malvasia grapes, cultivated within the DOC Friuli Isonzo, more precisely in the vineyards owned by the winery in Mariano del Friuli. Here, the vines, whose average age is young, grow using the spurred cordon system, in a territory characterized by a reddish color due to the strong presence of iron and aluminum oxides. The grapes, once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities of Vie di Romans, ferment in steel for 18 days at a controlled temperature ranging from 16 to 19 degrees, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. We then proceed with the aging, which always takes place in steel for 8 months, a period during which the wine remains to mature on the lees.

The Vie di Romans “Dis Cumieris” is an Istrian Malvasia that, upon visual examination, reveals a typically golden color, very inviting. The array of aromas that develop on the nose tells of fruity and citrus notes, enriched by more floral touches and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, with a refreshing sip, characterized by a savory texture; it finishes with a long-lasting finish. A bottle with which the Vie di Romans winery offers us a sip of aromatic Friuli, directly in the glass.
