RED WINE NEBBIOLO D'ALBA 'BRICCO BARONE' MARZIANO ABBONA 2020 DESCRIPTION

Nebbiolo d’Alba Bricco Barone by Marziano Abbona, produce in Monforte d’Alba, is a red wine that that has proven a constant quality over the years. The name of the grape from which it arises refers to two different possible etymologies: the first refers to the abundance of bloom on the skin of the grapes mature to the point that they look covered with “fog”; the second, surely the most evocative and representative of the unbreakable bond that this vineyard have with the territory of Langhe, refers to the period of maturity of the Nebbiolo grape, very late and thus coincides with the season of mists on the hills of the Langhe. Very fascinating image the last one, that reflects well the flavors and aromas of the delicate and pleasant Nebbiolo Bricco Barone. A wine stripped of the title "Barolo" only for disciplinary matters, but that, in our opinion, has nothing to envy to the noble wines.

Colour Deep ruby red with garnet reflections

Scent Soft and delicate, with floral notes of violet and red rose, calls of fresh raspberries and cherries fruity and pleasant spicy cinnamon, tobacco and black pepper

Taste Medium-bodied, velvety and rich of tannins, confirms the delicate spicy notes and fruity perfumes
