The Pecorino ‘Prope’ by Velenosi is a refined white wine that originates in Controguerra, among the hills near the Adriatic Sea. This pure Pecorino is treated gently in the cellar to maximize its aromatic component and spends 5 months on fine lees, a technique that gives roundness and structure. On the nose, it ranges from notes of white fruit to bread crust, passing through aromatic herbaceous hints. On the palate, it reveals itself to be soft, delicately bitter, characterized by a pleasant savoriness. An agile wine, full-bodied, good with intense fish dishes.
