The white Ribolla Gialla is one of the most iconic wines of Borgo San Daniele. This beautiful family-run estate cultivates about twenty hectares of vineyards in the prized area of Cormons, following environmentally respectful principles and biodynamic practices. The mild and breezy climate and the soils composed of the famous ponca, that is, sedimentations of marls and sandstones of ancient marine origin, have for centuries been an ideal habitat for white grape varieties. The Ribolla Gialla grapes come fromfrom the vineyards located in the hilly area of Giassico, near Cormons. After a brief pre-fermentation maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine rests on the lees in steel tanks until the following spring, when bottling takes place.

This ancient indigenous grape variety produces a straightforward and simple wine, perfect for tasting at aperitif time or to accompany appetizers or delicate seafood dishes. In appearance, it presents a bright, light straw yellow color. Fine and delicate, it has a bouquet characterized by floral aromas of orange blossom, hawthorn, wildflowers, citrus notes, lemon zest, aromas of green apple, cartucciuaro melon, white peach, and nuances of aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean scrub.
