The rosé wine from Velenosi is a fresh and delicate expression from the Marche region, matured in steel to preserve the fruity fragrance of the grape. The Rosato produced by the Marche winery Velenosi is a wine with a refined floral and fruity profile. Although it starts from the grapes historically present in the Marche, it is inspired by the Provençal model, which in the last decade has conquered the most important international markets, with the delicacy of taste, aromatic finesse, and fragrant expressive freshness. For these particular characteristics, it is a rosato very suitable to be tasted at the time of the aperitif, to accompany a platter of cold cuts or seafood appetizers. The Rosato wine is born in one of the most important wineries in the Marche. Velenosi manages, in fact, an estate of 150 hectares dedicated mainly to the cultivation of the indigenous grape varieties of the area. The wine is made from a blend of red grapes from vineyards located in the Castel di Lama area, at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level. The soils are medium-textured, predominantly clay-based. The harvest takes place at the beginning of September with a slight anticipation, in order to preserve the freshness essential for making an excellent rosé. The grapes are destemmed and then gently pressed using carbonic snow, to avoid the risks of oxidation, and with 6 hours of maceration. The free-run must is then vinified in white with fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14-15 °C in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is aged for a few months in steel tanks on the fine lees to acquire greater aromatic complexity.
The Rosato Velenosi is a wine that stands out for its extraordinary expressive finesse. Thanks to a delicate vinification, it expresses all the lively freshness of high-quality grapes. In the glass, it presents a beautiful bright and luminous light pink.
