The Red 'Pandorae Vas' from the Bajaj winery is a red wine in amphora, intense and fragrant. Very juicy and fruity, it impresses with a vibrant acidity that refreshes the palate sip after sip, while on the nose it expresses a wide bouquet of ripe red fruit. An extremely versatile wine, perfect for drinking with any meal!

The Piedmontese estate Bajaj presents the Rosso ‘Pandorae Vas’, a label with a pure and straightforward soul, highly evocative. The Moretti family, owners of the winery, exclusively cultivates the traditional varieties of the Roero territory, namely Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, and Favorita. This bottle was born with the 2015 vintage from the desire of Adriano Moretti, the latest generation of winemakers in the family, to challenge himself and experiment. Although his father did not agree, Adriano bought the first amphora with his savings, convinced of the goodness of his project, and the results can only prove him right. The name ‘Pandorae Vas’, meaning “Pandora's Jar”, is a clear reference to the amphora used.

The Rosso ‘Pandorae Vas’ from Bajaj originates from a single red grape grown on steep, sandy hillside soils, where vines reach up to 90 years of age, cultivated according to the principles of guided agriculture. When the grapes have reached the ideal stage of ripeness,It is ideal to proceed with manual harvesting and destemming, followed by the alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks with the aid of a pied de cuve. Upon reaching the peak temperature, a delestage is performed at controlled temperature for one night, and fermentation continues accompanied by periodic pump-overs and punch downs. Bottling does not involve any filtration.

Bajaj Rosso ‘Pandorae Vas’ has a light ruby red color. Intense and deep olfactory range, defined by hints of ripe red fruits, bramble flowers, earth, and underbrush, combined with balsamic and mineral sensations. Juicy and crunchy on the palate, where softness and freshness coexist harmoniously along with well-integrated tannins.
