'Tre Albe' Villa Venti 2023

The ‘Tre Albe’ from the artisanal winery Villa Venti is a Romagna white wine light and refreshing produced from a blend of local grape varieties Trebbiano and Albana, hence the wordplay “Tre-Albe”. Villa Venti is located within the municipality of Roncofreddo, on the gentle slopes of the Romagna hills in the province of Cesena. In this beautiful place, the Giardini family has chosen to safeguard the territory rather than exploit it, adopting a viticultural approach based on sustainability and non-invasiveness of agronomic and oenological processes, operating in harmony with nature. The ‘Tre Albe’ is a recently introduced label, having been inaugurated with the 2021 vintage.

Villa Venti ‘Tre Albe’ is made from a blend of Trebbiano (60%) and Albana (40%), grape varieties grown on ochre-colored soils composed of clay, sand, and limestone. The vines, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, are caressed by the salt-laden winds from the Adriatic Sea. The harvest is carried out entirely by hand and the bunches are then transferred to the winery for gentle pressing, followed by alcoholic fermentation conducted exclusively by indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, the mass spends 6 months maturing in steel and an additional 4 months resting in the bottle before its final release on the market.

Visually, the artisanal white wine ‘Tre Albe’ from Villa Venti expresses a brilliant straw-yellow hue. Fragrant and rich, the aromatic spectrum features aromas of fleshy fruits mingling with hints of flowers and wild herbs. The taste is fresh, savory, and smooth, with a harmonious fruity and floral finish consistent with the nose.
