The Trebez by Dario Princic is a white wine obtained from macerated Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon grapes. Balsamic tensions, citrus peels, fresh mineral sensations and dried fruit enliven the nose. Never disjointed on the palate, savory, with round and long tannins. A wine with great personality.

The white Trebez is an exciting and multifaceted orange wine, a creation of a great winemaker like Dario Princic. It is impossible to deny that Collio is a legendary land for enthusiasts of artisanal wines, and even more so for lovers of orange wines, white wines made by macerating the grapes with their skins to give depth, thickness, and structure. A group of masters, to which Dario Princic undoubtedly belongs, is a winemaker owning about 9 hectares in Oslavia. The philosophy shared with many other local producers is that of minimal intervention possible, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Unique wines, different every year, and for this reason capable of surprising and exciting.

The Trebez wine comes from a classic blend of Collio, made up of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon. The vines, located around the Oslavia area, rest on clay-limestone soil and are cultivated without any chemical or synthetic products. The harvest is done manually, with an extremely rigorous selection of the grapes while in the cellar they proceed only with spontaneous fermentations. The different grape varieties are made for different times, in fact, Chardonnay and Sauvignon remain in contact with the skins for about a month while Pinot Grigio only for 7 days. The aging lasts three and a half years in large barrels.

The Trebez of Princic pours into the glass with an orange-copper color. A liquid that transcends the canons of conventional wines, both in visual appearance and especially in the olfactory aspect where it pulses with living and rich matter. The fleshy apricot, acacia honey, and lime zest are all aromas that take a back seat to the incessant mutability of this nectar. The sip returns a luscious and weighty wine, without this ever becoming a limit, being constantly tempered by the providential contribution of salt and freshness. A great nectar that redefines tasting canons and breaks down superstructures. Thank you, Dario!
