The "Baron Edmond" from the Rupert Rothschild winery is a South African red wine with a classic and structured profile. The Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec grapes are fermented in steel tanks and then aged in French oak barrels for a period of 18 months. It develops a good complexity on the palate that concludes the sip in a linear way. It expresses itself with hints of underbrush and aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and black currants.
