“Flor Pingus” Ribera del Duero from Dominio de Pingus is the flagship label of this renowned winery located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, near Valladolid. The estate covers an area of 45 hectares in the heart of the Ribera del Duero vineyard, in the region of Castiglia y León. The vineyards are located in the beautiful valley of the Duero River and can enjoy favorable soils and a mild climate, characterized by good thermal excursions, which allow for slow and optimal ripening of the grapes. The management of the vineyards is conducted traditionally, with simple practices and very low yields per plant, in order to achieve maximum concentration. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts, and the wine ages for a period of at least 18 months in French oak barrels.
