The Terre Alte is one of the most famous and important white wines by Livio Felluga: a blend of Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, and Friulano born from separate vinifications and aging in steel and barrique. The elegant and complex bouquet offers notes of tropical fruit, Mediterranean scrub, white flowers, and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is rich, soft, generous, and persistent.

The white Terre Alte by Livio Felluga is an exceptional wine, multi-awarded and praised by critics, both Italian and international. It is indeed one of the few white wines known worldwide, and it is now considered a flagship, not only of the winery but of all Friuli. Its softness, intense flavor, and complex aromas rich in nuances captivate from the very first moments. A bottle that certainly deserves more than one tasting.

Terre Alte is a Friulian wine that comes from a skillful blend where we find Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, and Friulano. Three grape varieties that grow by sinking their roots into a marly territory rich in sandstones, of Eocene origin. The grapes, after harvesting, are destemmed and macerated for a short period. Then, a light pressing is carried out, and Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon ferment at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, while Friulano ferments alcoholically in small French oak barrels. This difference continues even after vinification, during the aging phase, which lasts, both in wood and in steel, for 10 months.

The wine Terre Alte Livio Felluga presents itself visually with a decidedly intense straw yellow color. Rich and layered is the range of aromas that develops on the nose, where Mediterranean scrub, fruit, flowers, and spices dance in a perfectly orchestrated olfactory symphony. On the palate, it is extremely pleasant, with a sip characterized by a savory texture that encourages drinking; it finishes with a persistent aftertaste. A label where quality reaches truly important heights, confirming Livio Felluga as one of the reference producers not only of Friuli Venezia Giulia but of all Italy.
