When the name Gaja resonates, the eyes of enthusiasts begin to become more lively, agitated, and attentive. We are indeed talking about one of the absolute legends of Italian wine, which with this Gaja & Rey confirms all its prestige. It is a pure Chardonnay, coming from one of the first vineyards in the Langhe where this grape variety was planted. A label characterized by excellent freshness, where the sip excites with elegance and refinement, bringing us back to the feminine soul of Gaja and Rey, the two women of the Gaja family to whom this great white wine is dedicated.

The Gaja winery, for the production of this Gaja & Rey, starts from an internationally cultivated white grape variety widely grown around the world, Chardonnay. The grapes come from vines whose average age is around 40 years, and after being carefully selected during the harvest phase, they are fermented in barriques. Then we move on to the aging phase, initially carried out for 12 months in barrique and, afterbottling, for another 6 months directly in the bottle.

The Gaja & Rey is a white wine that presents itself visually with a straw yellow color, with slight reflections tending towards gold. The aromas perceived on the nose are various, with notes that shift from fruit to flowers, with a hint of sweet spices. On the palate, it has excellent structure, delicate, with a sip in which freshness and sapidity contribute to making the drinking experience extremely smooth; it finishes with a persistence truly worthy of note. A label with which the Gaja winery, for years a prominent name among connoisseurs of great bottles worldwide, confirms to be a point of reference also for the production of superb white wines.
