Nestled among the majestic peaks of Mount Cetona, Rufeno, and Amiata, in the picturesque area of San Casciano dei Bagni, the 'Petit Sancaba' of the Tenuta di Trinoro is born. The Pinot Noir grapes that will compose the 'Petit Sancaba' are grown at 650 meters above sea level, in a terroir privileged for this blend due to the low temperature variations and the predominantly galestro soil interspersed with Alberese stone banks. Tenuta di Trinoro adopts environmentally respectful agricultural practices, with targeted soil management and the use of straw as ground cover to promote biodiversity. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats with 25% whole clusters, followed by aging for about 6 months in concrete vats and second-passage tonneaux.
