The Sauvignon Insight by Vinultra is a heady squeeze of tropical fruit, a shimmering testimony of the new world of wine. A truly captivating white, which coincides, as is not always the case, with a liquid content that is truly tasty and seductive. We are in New Zealand, more precisely on the East Coast of the Waihopai Valley, Marlborough. Here Vinultra is born, a winery that extends over 23 hectares and whose primary intent is to "fascinate" the consumer by offering bottles that can combine aromaticity and finesse. An oasis of peace and beauty, where Gewurztraminer, Pinot Nero, Sauvignon, and Riesling grow luxuriantly on soils of different origins. "Wine is made in the vineyard" say the guys at Vinultra, and when it is made this well, one can only make a little space in the cellar. An exotic expression, with a truly captivating label, where the characteristic aromas are represented concentrically as if forming a sun, the tropical one of New Zealand.

The choice to vinify a single plot is aimed at enhancing the innate combination between Sauvignon and the soil of Marlborough, as well as the perfect temperature variation and favorable climatic conditions. The cryomaceration of the must lasts 48 hours and fermentation takes place in refrigerated stainless steel tanks, these choices are the prelude to aging on the fine lees in stainless steel containers for several months on the fine lees.
The Sauvignon Insight wine has a light straw yellow color, very bright and sparkling. Intense nose, it explodes in a whirlwind of exotic fruit and bouquets of flowers. Clear and delicious mango, papaya, lychee, and passion fruit, quickly followed by white pepper, ginger, and lemon zest. On the nose, almost stunning for its expressive richness, corresponds to a sip endowed with unsuspected finesse, which balances with its measured freshness the exuberant aromaticity of the type. It accompanies and welcomes fish in all its variations, even better if on a special evening. One man show!
