Ferrari's Trento Spumante 'Missoni Red Limited Edition' was born at the foot of the mountains surrounding the city of Trento. Giulio Ferrari is the founder of this reality, considered one of the pioneers of sparkling wine making in this area at the beginning of the 20th century, creating products that had nothing to envy to the great French Champagnes. He was the first to understand the real potential that the Chardonnay grape variety could unleash in this land and how its declinations could be multiple. In the early 1950s, it was Bruno Lunelli who succeeded the now elderly Giulio, picking up the master's legacy and making the most of it, modernising production techniques both in the cellar and in the vineyard. Today, Bruno's three sons run the business, always looking to the future and sustainability.

The vineyards of Ferrari's Trento Spumante "Missoni Red Limited Edition" are situated at an altitude of around 800 metres above sea level; the climate is characterised by harsh winters, snowy and often affected by sudden frosts; the summers are hot, sunny with significant temperature swings between day and night, a condition that guarantees intense aromaticity to the grapes. Work in the vineyard is guided by the knowledge that only great attention to the natural growth and development phases of the raw material and the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards can lead to a final product of unquestionable quality. The grapes are harvested manually and a careful selection of the best bunches follows. In the cellar, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel; it matures on the lees for more than 40 months.

To the eye, Ferrari's Trento Spumante "Missoni Red Limited Edition" is an intense yellow with brilliant golden reflections and a persistent and delicate perlage on the palate. The bouquet is variegated: notes of freshly baked bread crust, toasted hazelnuts, hints of vanilla that pervade the nose along with aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is elegant, creamy and delicate with a pleasant freshness that entices glass after glass.
