Bourgogne Rouge Maison Lou Dumont 2022
Maison Lou Dumont's Bourgogne Rouge is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on vines that are around fifty years old, cultivated in Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. On the label, the three Japanese characters represent heaven, earth and man and refer to the concept of terroir, which the Maison is committed to preserving through organic farming and minimal impact winemaking. The bouquet is elegant, with hints of raspberries and currants, enriched by balsamic notes that evolve into delicate spicy and toasted hints. On the palate, the wine is taut but harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a salty, persistent finish. Excellent paired with roast rabbit with mustard
