The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from Corte Bravi is a fine and full-bodied red wine born from an artisanal production philosophy. This label, produced in a limited number of bottles, is crafted from the best grapes left to dry in wooden boxes in a controlled environment. During the drying period, the berries dehydrate, thus concentrating aromas, sugars, and other dry substances. The result is a bottle capable of expressing the most intimate essence of its territory.
The Corte Bravi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico consists of a blend of traditional Corvina Veronese (40%), Corvinone (40%), Molinara (15%), and Rondinella (5%). The vines, about 30 years old, are cultivated organically using the Veronese pergola system, on clayey soils with abundant limestone presence located 200 meters above sea level. During the harvest, carried out entirely by hand, a careful selection of the bunches is performed, which are placed to dry for 3 months in wooden boxes. After this period, the process continues with the pressing and the subsequent cold maceration of 10 days that precedes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. During the fermentation process, the must is left in contact with the pomace to achieve a second hot maceration. The subsequent aging period takes place in oak barrels for as long as 36 months, at the end of which the wine is bottled without undergoing filtration and then left to rest in glass for a year before being released on the market.
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from the Corte Bravi winery is ruby red in color with garnet reflections. The vivid olfactory panorama ranges from aromas of cherries in spirit, dried plums, sweet spices, and chocolate. Intense and persistent on the palate, with a enveloping body thanks to the soft and elegant tannin.
