The Amaro of the Trieste brand Nobile Kobiashvili is a liqueur capable of reflecting the essence of Georgia thanks to the combination of botanicals from the Georgian heights and traditional terracotta amphorae for the aging phase. The founder of the brand is Giorgi Kobiashvili, an entrepreneur with noble origins dating back to 1253, the year in which his family was awarded the noble title following the heroic deeds of one of his ancestors, who fought alongside King David VII of Georgia, sacrificing himself to protect the life of the sovereign. The bottle features the noble heraldry conferred to the Kobiashvili family in the 13th century.
The Nobile Kobiashvili Amaro is made from a careful selection of herbs collected from the heights of Georgia, an art that Giorgi learned during his childhood while accompanying his great-grandmother Verichka. The botanicals are infused in high-quality grappa for an adequate period, after which the liqueur is aged in Georgian amphorae over 150 years. The amaro is finally bottled in a bottle made of Georgian terracotta, so that the organoleptic evolution can continue even after it hits the market. Throughout the entire production process, the addition of sugars is excluded, in order not to alter the purest identity of the liqueur.
over 150 years. The amaro is finally bottled in a bottle made of Georgian terracotta, so that the organoleptic evolution can continue even after it hits the market. Throughout the entire production process, the addition of sugars is excluded, in order not to alter the purest identity of the liqueur. The Amaro Nobile Kobiashvili presents itself with an intense amber color. On the nose, vivid and intoxicating sensations of mint and juniper emerge, giving a balsamic character to the liqueur, accompanied by sweet hints of honey and inviting spicy notes. The taste is rich and smooth, rightly bitter, characterized by a very long balsamic persistence that lingers on the aromas perceived by the nose.
