The Boggina B by Petrolo is a full-bodied, soft, and round white wine made from Trebbiano Toscano, vinified and aged for 24 months in barrique, in pure Burgundian style. Intense aromas of ripe fruit, flowers, and vanilla emerge in succession in a structured and enveloping tasting experience, with good minerality, freshness, and excellent elegance.

The Boggina Bianco from the Petrolo winery is a white wine full-bodied and of great character produced from pure Trebbiano grapes. This grape variety, known and cultivated in this area since the 300s, if treated with due care, is capable of imparting elegance and complexity to the typical rusticity of the variety, as is the case with the Boggina Bianco. The winery, managed by the Bazzocchi-Sanjust family for four generations, extends over a territory of 272 hectares, of which 30 are planted with vines, within the Valdarno Superiore, which stretches from the Chianti Colli Aretini area southeast to the area bordering Chianti Classico.

The Boggina Bianco of Petrolo comes from 45-year-old vines, trained to a spurred cordon at an altitude ranging from 250 to 450 meters above sea level on medium-textured soils characterized by the presence of galestro, alberese, and sandstone with clay. The winemaking process begins after the grapes, harvested and manually selected, arrive at the winery. The fermentation, which uses exclusively indigenous yeasts, takes place in oak barriques.French. Once completed, the wine is aged on its own lees in the same barrels for a period of 24 months with frequent batonnage. After the aging period, the Trebbiano is filtered, bottled, and finally released for sale.

The Boggina Bianco from the Petrolo winery has an intense straw yellow color with golden hues. The nose presents hints of ripe yellow fruit, dried nuts such as walnuts and almonds, wilted white flowers, notes of chestnut, hay, and vanilla. On the palate, it has a good structure, soft, round, and with pronounced minerality. The finish is persistent, fresh, and very pleasant. This label from the Petrolo winery is a great white based on Trebbiano, an expression of a territory and a grape variety often underestimated, which instead is capable of producing excellent wines of great complexity.
