The Abruzzo rosé wine Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo from the Tiberio winery is a product with a playful, fragrant, and crisp character, which maintains its dynamism thanks to vinification solely in steel. It is a pure Montepulciano, whose bouquet consists of small notes of red fruit, while on the palate, a refreshing sip is encountered, encouraging drinking. An exceptionally versatile label at the table, where from pizza to fish soups, including fresh cheeses, it accompanies a wide variety of recipes and ingredients.
The Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is made by the Tiberio winery using pure Montepulciano grapes, a variety widely cultivated within the regional borders. The vines of this variety, whose age exceeds fifty years, grow their roots in a limestone soil, in vineyards located at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level. The grapes, once selected and brought to the facilities designated for vinification, cold macerate on the skins for 2-3 hours, before ferment spontaneously in stainless steel containers, thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts. Still in steel, the wine rests for a few months, stabilizing, until bottling and marketing operations begin.
This Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo branded Tiberio presents itself in the glass with a cerasuolo pink color, deep and intense. The array of aromas that outlines its olfactory profile tells of notes that are mainly fruity, subtle, and fine, also enriched by light touches of red flowers. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slim and smooth, with a fresh sip, highlighting a fruity flavor. A young bottle, to be enjoyed now, to fully savor its vitality.
