Chateau Mouton Rotschild is an extraordinary red wine with a majestic and robust tone that expresses the charm of the Cabernet of Pauillac, one of the most famous areas of the Bordeaux area. It has an intense and complex olfactory profile, composed of notes of pepper, currant, blackberry, dried flowers and toasted wood. It has a soft, silky and elegant body, of great character and power, with ripe tannins and a very balanced finish. An absolute champion!

Chateau Mouton Rothschild represents one of the most iconic wines in the world, considered by many as the most long-lived red. Its ability to evolve over time and transform from a rugged warrior to an exceptional Bordeaux describes it as the absolute reference for Cabernet Sauvignon. The highest honor is then given by the art expressed on the label, exclusively designed each year, since 1945, by a world-renowned artist.

The Grand Vin of Chateau Mouton Rothschild is a legend that comes to life in the vineyard surrounding the castle, in the territory of the municipality of Pauillac. The vines, dense with 10,000 plants per hectare, have an average age of around 44 years and take root on the hill called Plateau de Mouton: a rise that stands 27 meters above sea level and is made up of a deep concentration of several meters of gravel and pebbles, mixed with sand and a splash of clay. The base is simply limestone rock. The ability to reflect heat and sunlight, the capacity draining and water reserve: everything in this land contributes to the perfect ripening of the fruits. The obsessive selection of the bunches is already carried out during the hand harvesting phases, with collection in small baskets. Once destemmed and without being crushed in any way, the grapes are transferred via a mobile belt and by gravity into the tanks: of various sizes, in order to adapt to the extensions of the individual parcels to which they refer, they are mostly made of oak wood. The blend is made up of the majority of Cabernet Sauvignon, at 90%, Merlot at 9%, and Petit Verdot at 1%, and is created before the passage into new barriques, where aging takes place for at least 20 months.

Chateau Mouton Rothschild showcases a deep and impenetrable garnet hue. The nose is complex and elegant, with an impact of wild berries. Aeration brings forth harmonious spicy notes of pepper and floral notes of dried violet, with a crunchy fruitiness of blackcurrant and more mature plum and blackberry, against a backdrop of hints of toasted wood. The attack on the palate is fresh, dry and with a velvety and full-bodied structure, with fresh fruity hints: the maturity of the tannins envelops the palate with a lasting impression of softness. This is the Bordeaux that encapsulates balance and refinement, and the promise of a long life.
