Ippolito 1845's Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore 'Liber Pater' is an intense but approachable red wine that combines tradition and rigorous production methods. Gaglioppo, a native Calabrian grape variety, matures in French oak barriques for eight months, giving it an intense, Mediterranean profile. The nose reveals hints of ripe red fruit, violet petals and sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals a robust body, soft tannins and a perfect balance between alcohol and tannins. It pairs beautifully with braised red meats
